KR Series - Standing Type Datacom Rack Cabinets

Built on the successful KabinPLUS platform, KR Series cabinets are designed to provide features that may be needed in data - communication infrastructures.

Standard Features

• Two pairs of 19-inch mounting rails, which can be positioned with adjustable depth at the back and front, are painted black and have white marks indicating U height.
• Cabinets can be used solo or bayed together with baying brackets.
• All doors, covers and internal parts are electrically bonded with the framework. The door grounding conductor with socket provides convinience when the door is to be detached. The grounding terminal positioned on the framework is the connection point to the common grounding network.
• Full metal levelling feet help adjusting the level on uneven surfaces.

Castors

• Robust design with double wheels and steel ball bearings
• Fixed directly to the frame with M12 bolts
• Each of four castors has the ability to rotate 360 degrees. Two of them at front have brakes.

Front and Rear Doors

• Various door options available
 - Glazed, solid or perforated metal
 - Full-width or split
• Standard door configuration
 - Split glazed front door
 - Split solid metal rear door
• Thanks to the hinges that can be opened 180 degrees on all door types, accessing inside can be done without removing the doors which may be necessary during device installation or in case of major operational change inside the cabinet.
• Split, overlapping doors have one lock at mid height for convenient opening and closing. Integrated locking mechanism fastens both doors to the frame at top and bottom when the door is locked.

Flexible Cabling

• Top covers have pre-lasercut and breakable cable entry openings at the front, back and sides for easy cable management.
• Side top entry openings allow cables to be easily routed between 19 inch zone and side panel.
• Cable entry accessories with integrated brush strips can be used at breaken or knocked-out entry openings for physical cable protection and dust sealing.

Adaptable Ventilation

• Knockouts at the center of top panels are to be used to install fan modules when needed.
• Depending on the depth of the cabinet up to 3 fan modules can be installed.
• Fan modules can be fixed or removed from outside and each is equipped with ON/OFF switch, thermostat and 1, 2 or 3 fans depending on selection.

Side Panels

• Full-height side panels can easily be positioned with quick release latches located at both sides and locked with key at the center.
• Having side covers installed does not prevent multiple cabinets from being bayed side by side.
• Grounding of side panel is ensured automatically when locked in place. Dedicated grounding conductor is eliminated.
